Spot the Phish: 5-minute security module

1 thing to fix before this goes out, and 2 to make it stronger

Work through them in order. Each takes a few minutes, and most come with words you can paste in.

Must fixQuiz, question 3

Replace quiz question 3 with one that asks learners to act

Objective 2 asks learners to choose the right action, but question 3 only asks what “phishing” means. Learners are graded on something the course never set out to teach, and objective 2 is barely tested.

In your course

  1. Find question 3: “What does the word ‘phishing’ mean?”
  2. Replace it with this question:

You receive an email from “HR” with a link to update your benefits. The sender address is hr@company-external.com. What is your first action? A) Click the link. B) Report the email. C) Delete it.

  3. Mark B, Report the email, as the correct answer.

Every quiz question now tests an objective: question 1 spots the signs, questions 2 and 3 choose the action.
